Bose Backpocket Knife Construction/158backpocketconst.jpgPrevious | Home | Next |
This is the beginning of the finishing process. The blade is protected by wrapping
in paper towel and taped. A small 6" metal ruler is wrapped with sandpaper and
the knife is sanded using uncented lamp oil(in the little plastic bottle) as
a wetting agent. When the sand paper stops cutting, the used strip of paper is
ripped from the ruler...there is a straight edge there already to make that easy.
The ruler makes a nice ridgid but flexible sanding tool. |
