Temporary assembly of the knife to grind the edges of liners/spring/blade to a seamless presentation. A mark has been placed on the bushing which must be aligned with a matching mark on the "pile side" liner. This insures that there won't be any surprises in case the center hole is not perfectly centered with the outside of the bushing.
