The handle material is dry fitted to the bolster prior to drilling. When he is satisfied with the fit, he will clamp and drill the pin holes. With the holes drilled, he temporarily pins the handle to the liner assembly and rechecks the fit with a loop. If that is good, he uses gap filling super glue in spots on the handle material and uses the extra long pin to guide the handle into place.
